Academics
Academics are a top priority for Zeta women at the University of Tennessee, and we are proud to say we hold an average GPA of 3.6. We encourage all of our sisters to strive for the best by promoting healthy study habits, rewarding those who excel academically, and ensuring our members feel secure in their studies. With various speakers each semester, attentive new member programming, and supportive academic leaders, we highlight the importance of having a well-rounded and intelligent group of Zeta women by your side!
ZTA's Crowning Achievements program is a comprehensive academic program that gives our members the skills to excel in their goals and prepare for their career paths. It provides helpful strategies members can use right away to manage their time, improve their study skills, relieve stress, and plan for the next steps after college. Crowning Achievements includes online components as well as in-person chapter programs.
In-person programming is facilitated by the Academic Achievement Chairman. These workshops complement what members are learning online. They include a Crowning Achievements kick-off at the beginning of every year, academic goal-setting at the beginning of every semester/quarter, and a menu of other programming options from which to choose. Due to the success of our programs, we were awarded Academic Program of the Year for 2016.
The Zeta Chapter is filled with driven and intelligent leaders who excel in academics. We are a dedicated and driven group of women striving to succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
